Pramlintide is a synthetic analogue of the naturally occurring neuroendocrine hormone Amylin, currently used for type I and type II diabetes patients. Amylin is also known as islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP). Amylin (UniProt ID P10997) synthetic glycopeptide analogue fragment (Lys34-Tyr71; UniProt position 34-71; aa length 37) with GlcNAcβ at Asn65 position. The C-terminus is an amide.
