Galβ(1-3)GalNAc-α-BSA Conjugate

A synthetic glycoconjugate of BSA (neoglycoprotein) where Core 1 disaccharide, Galβ1-3GalNAc (Galacto-N-biose), has been conjugated to BSA at multiple lysines by highly stable amide linkages via a discrete 9-atom triethylene glycol (PEG3) linker/spacer system functionalized with carboxylic acid. Core 1 glycan, Galβ1-3GalNAc, is the carbohydrate component of the tumour-associated cancer antigen, T-antigen (Thomsen–Friedenreich antigen; Galβ1-3GalNAcα1-Ser/Thr).
