BT900220

Blood Group H Type I Trisaccharide-Biotin

A Blood Group H Type I trisaccharide (Fucα1-2Galβ1-3GlcNAc) ligand equipped with a biotin tag. The biotin moiety binds with high affinity to streptavidin and neutravidin, enabling straightforward immobilization on chips, in wells, or on other streptavidin/neutravidin-coated platforms. This compound presents the Blood Group H Type I trisaccharide (Fucα1-2Galβ1-3GlcNAc), a histo-blood group antigen and the precursor to Blood Group A and B Type I antigens. It is a ligand for fucose- and H-antigen-recognizing lectins and a probe for blood group and host-pathogen interaction studies.
