G2 Glycan Asn-Ahx-Biotin (Asn-hexyl spacer between glycan and biotin)
A G2 (fully galactosylated, biantennary) complex-type N-glycan on an Asn core equipped with a biotin tag through an aminohexanoic acid (Ahx) spacer. The biotin moiety binds with high affinity to streptavidin and neutravidin, enabling straightforward immobilization on chips, in wells, or on other streptavidin/neutravidin-coated platforms. This compound presents a G2 (fully galactosylated, biantennary) complex-type N-glycan, a common IgG Fc glycoform and galectin ligand. The biotin tag enables immobilization on streptavidin/neutravidin-coated platforms for binding studies and glycan arrays.
