Sialyl Tn (Neu5Acα2-6GalNAc) antigen is an O-GalNAc linked glycan. STn antigen expression is often associated with cancer progression and metastasis. It is found on the surface of cancer cells and can also be detected on serum glycoproteins. It is a ligand for Siglecs.
