LacNAc Type-I Ligands

LacNAc type-I (Galβ1-3GlcNAc) is a ligand for galectins. This probe can be used as a soluble inhibitor or can be immobilized on plates or sensors to investigate galectin binding.

LacNAc type-I is a substrate for glycosyltransferases, including N-acetylglucosaminyltransferases, fucosyltransferases and sialyltransferases.
