Sussex Research Laboratories Inc. is attending the 32nd International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS 2026) from July 5-9 in Bratislava, Slovakia, one of the world's premier scientific meetings dedicated to carbohydrate chemistry and glycoscience. The ICS 2026 provides a global forum to showcase the latest advances in carbohydrate chemistry, chemical biology, glycobiology, and glycotechnology.
A special congratulations to Professor Todd L. Lowary on receiving the 2026 Roy L. Whistler Award. This prestigious honour recognizes scientists who have made outstanding and enduring contributions to carbohydrate chemistry and biochemistry. Todd's pioneering work has profoundly influenced the field, and his mentorship has shaped the careers of many outstanding glycoscientists around the world. Todd is a very close friend, and collaborator of Sussex Research. We are especially proud that our Associate Director of Carbohydrate Chemistry, Ryan P. Sweeney, trained under Professor Lowary is now a part of our technical management team.
