At Sussex Research Laboratories Inc., we operate in a highly specialized scientific space, one so complex that few are willing to take on the risk it demands. The field of glycoscience requires a depth of expertise and long-term commitment that only a small number of scientists dedicate their academic and professional careers to learning, educating, and advancing.

As the year draws to a close, it is a natural moment for reflection. For looking back on achievements and challenges, scientific progress, the relationships we have built and sustained, and the direction we are intentionally shaping for the future. Over the past year, we have taken on exceptionally complex carbohydrate projects, strengthened trusted relationships with clients, collaborators/partners and extended glycoscience into areas few have explored. At the same time, we continue to build new connections and demonstrate how glycoscience can enable and empower therapeutic development as part of the biotech/life science ecosystem.

Next year, Sussex Research will celebrate its 30th anniversary! We have never been a company that lists achievements, promotes milestones, or posts testimonials. We have chosen to remain largely private, allowing our products, services, and relationships speak for themselves. The company continues to be internationally recognized, for remaining committed to continuous learning, the highest standards of quality, meaningful customer service, and a shared scientific focus, not only on our own expertise, but on advancing the work of our clients.

As we approach this milestone, it is important to recognize what truly sustains Sussex Research - the team behind the company. The scientists and professionals who have devoted their careers to advancing our vision with integrity, resilience, and deep understanding. Their efforts have carried us here, and they will define what comes next. As we look toward 2026, we are not slowing down. We are building on decades of hard-earned expertise to take glycoscience further, into new challenges and new possibilities. We look forward to sharing what lies ahead and finally ready to share more of our story.
